Summary
An ongoing collection of short scenes (300-1000 words) written in response to prompts. Most are set in the present day, but some are during childhood, high school, college, or in alternate universes. Fluff and sexytimes, nothing terribly explicit.

The rule is that, were Rhett a werewolf, if Link can ride him, he can take him home.
Link’s already taking him home. And Rhett’s feeling decidedly wolfish.
One plus two plus three, equals Link riding Rhett on the office couch.— inspired by gmm #316

"Lohn looked past the dirt road and noticed the familiar markings on the trees. It all came flooding back to him and he relaxed immediately. His eyes glanced ahead, and though he couldn’t see the place in the dark, he knew there was a treehouse nestled in the wood not a mile from where they stood now."

“Why’s it always fuckin’?”
Lohn has to blink away the sleep in his eyes before he can make sense of Redd’s voice. The sun’s been gone an hour now, and with the days longer than ever every bit of him except the six foot six inches sitting on the other side of the fire pit is ready to go to bed. Hearing what Redd’s asking doesn’t make it make any more sense, though.
“Wassat?” Lohn manages, yawning. He can just make out Redd tilting his head as he repeats himself.
“I said, why is it always fucking? When it’s me that’s inside you.”

“You sure about this?” Redd asks.
Lohn’s cock twitches where he’s splayed out even as Lohn clears his throat, gives an honest answer of, “Well, no, not entirely.”
“But you still want to,” Redd says - not a question, this time, a fact based on everything Redd knows about Lohn.
“Want you to,” Lohn starts, voice too-loud in his bravado, “fuck me, yeah.”

Summary
Redd’s tongue pokes out between his lips to wet them before he speaks, says the words Lohn’s known since they were children and he’d found himself in the role of Redd’s defender even though he were bigger'n all the other kids, since they were teens and Redd never dated, since they were adults and Redd were never so much as tempted by the women looking his way.
"I'm gay, Lohn."

Lohn always had a lot of dreams. Growing up he was made fun of for always having his head in the clouds, but Lohn knew to never let it bother him. He knew that someday, he'd be the one laughing when all of his hopes were realized.

Summary
Ain’t it strange how, half the time, the moon’s up in the day, and nobody talks about it?
This redneck, mullet-rocking country music duo is stuck in a creative rut. Looking for inspiration beyond his broken marriage, Lohn Lightning finds it: his best friend, Redd ‘Rabbit Claw’ Moonshine, by his side as they tour from dive bar to drag club to bargain motel and back. A one-week echo of old times turns into a thundering revival of what existence, intimacy, and music could be for both of them, if only they could quit caring what other people might think if they change.

Summary
When Redd returned to his hometown for Christmas, he only planned to see his family, then get himself and his dog back on the road again. He didn’t have plans to kiss another man under the mistletoe, nor take him home for a night, nor continue to enjoy his company in the days after, in an increasingly comfortable domestic manner. He certainly never considered that he’d want his family to meet Lohn, or, amazingly, they would actually like him. Now Redd might not want to part ways at all. But, the thing is... the longing in Redd’s heart is only one half of the equation. By his calculations, Lohn’s half doesn’t fully add up.

Summary
Returning to the Dollywood theme park after his second divorce, Lohn struggles to enjoy a weekend of rollercoasters and cinnamon bread the same way he once did, despite his best friend’s efforts. He’s convinced that the kind of love he craves will elude him forever. But when a couple of tourists get him and Redd to pose for a photo, an intimate opportunity presents itself, and Lohn can’t pass it up. Maybe after eight years, two divorces, and one kiss from Redd’s lips, something good might finally take.

Lohn + lingerie = Lohngerie (lon·jer·ey)
Lohn is meant to be buying fancy, frilly underwear for his wife, not himself. But he likes how it feels on him. And judging by how his best friend reacts when he tries the bralette in the store, Redd might like it even more. Now Lohn is caught between salvaging a lackluster marriage, and figuring out what... or who... he might want instead. Short on time before his wife gets home, he makes a frantic phone call to Redd, dressed up and desperate to know if he and Redd crave the same thing.

“Did you know,” Lohn said, voice dry and rough, not yet ready to be used, “back in the day, the golden age of Hollywood, or whatever folks call it, they weren’t allowed to show indecent things to the public. Kissin’, and that. So they’d show two people, like, sharing a drink from the same bottle.” Lohn handed back the cigarette, and Redd took it, tapping the ash off the balcony and into the pink sunrise before them. “Sharin’ a cigarette.”

Summary
Right before a beach shoot for a music video, Lohn’s fiancée backs out of the production, and now the video is missing its romantic finale: a kiss. For the sake of Lohn’s passion project, Redd steps in. But one peck isn’t enough - they need multiple takes before the sun sets, and each feels more intense than the last.
When Lohn returns at dawn, craving Redd’s touch despite being engaged to someone else, it’s clear they’ve crossed a line. Either they suppress their feelings, or their urges will ruin everything - including their friendship.

It was too hot inside. So Redd and Lohn were out on the porch, waiting.
