The living (his friends, the people he was starting to call his family) were kind and welcoming, probably more then he deserved. And he loved them, didn't he? He cared about them.
They would hate him for his necromancy and they would hate him for what he planned to do with it, wouldn't they? The hatred of necromancy is what had brought him and his family to their early graves in the first place.

Summary
Sherbert is distancing themself from everyone and no one knows why. Rae decides to go find some answers.
The wack continues to get worse and Sherbert doesn't know what to do. Rae tries to help them but there is only so much he can do. Sherbert starts to give up, leading to some very bad situations. Sherbert eventually has to turn to Fable and Enderian for help but Quixis has other plans.

When Sherbert finds an old friend passed out at their door and takes him in, they learn about what's going on in the End behind closed doors. Now given the motivation and evidence needed, Sherbert is faced with the opportunity to go to war with the End.
