The Great Nether, now unreachable by all. However, the memory of it burned bright in Blade’s mind. Deep red vines rooted in the soft, warm soil of his home. He still saw the joy on his mother’s face before everything happened.

Summary
Sophie, a Builder, crashes on an island in bad weather. She is separated from Steve, who was the navigator and guardian onboard their ship, as well as her father. Alone and stranded near a mysterious mountain, she is one Builder against a vast and hostile world. She must create a safe space amongst so much danger and lay her life on the line for its survival, from threats within and without.
This is a fanfiction based on my forever world in Minecraft and its lore. There should be many more chapters to come! Sophie and the other characters (except for Steve) are all my OCs.

Ok so this is my first attempt at a wide range of AUs based on some headcanons I have about the Nether, Nether species, BadBoyHalo's species, and more.
But a basic summary of this one is:
Technoblade is way younger than most of SMP thinks, and only Bad (also Sapnap) knows, because netherkind have their age indicators. And Bad is a Netherkind too.Techno is an UnClaimed cub on his own.
After a battle triggers a flashback of things Techno would rather not tell anyone, Bad (And Sapnap) finally takes action.

Or: What happens when you come to rely on something with otherworldly origins too much, and it decides its code would be much better off merged with yours. After all, it was once living as well, and if you use it so much, surely having it as a permanent fixture in your life would be more of a boon than a curse.
It's only a shame that the process is so painful.
Maybe less of a shame that the people around you love you enough to help, though.

Phil froze as he watched it, and the crow on his other shoulder let out a surprised squawk. The pig ignored them both and started to drag Phil away by the sleeve.
