Summary
Before the Rogi became a nation, the East was entrusted to Nicephore, a dutiful king who ruled with fire and courage. To aid him (and to keep loneliness at bay), he founded the Order of the King's Standard, an institution of knights and priests sworn to counsel him and guide the realm.
But peace is a fragile thing. From the eastern mountains came whispers of rival tribes uniting under a single banner, intent on the East's destruction. Nicephore and the Knights of the King's Standard marched forth to defend their people and their crown.
Later generations would venerate him as a saint, but in his own time, Nicephore was a man beset by melancholy, regret, and guilt. To save his kingdom, he would have to overcome those shadows, bend the mountains to the Rogue standard … or perish, giving everything he had in the attempt.

Summary
Tanguish is Tango's hels, and they get along a lot better than most hels and their hermits should. Unfortunately, the universe wasn't made to house both of them. Helsmets were made to return to their hermits eventually, making a complete person.
Except what happens when the hels is the stronger of the two? What happens if they really don't want to be?[This fic started as a handful of one-shots on Tumblr and has slowly snowballed into something bigger. After the war waged between the order of the dawnborne (the saints) and the Crimson Obsidian, in which Elysera banished the enemy underground to a wasteland of ash named Asphodium, the high Saint Lirael Montclair has to face the aftermath of death and war, living in constant fear and darkness despite being known as the victor, and the Saint of light. While she grows ever more distant and cold, her childhood bestfriend, Fyodor Evermere, a saint who fought alongside her, tries to reach out and pull her back to him, though who's to say if he'll succeed.

Sleep crusted against his lashes, and Wolfwood raised his hands and rubbed their heels in to clear it away. The night’s events were snatched by sleep, and he reclaimed them piece by piece. The shooting star and the hallucination of Saint Vash, his lovely eyes brighter than noon. Wolfwood shoved himself up to sitting and dropped his hands.
Saint Vash sat next to the bed, morning light curling pink around his hair. It looked a trace more regal in the light, more a crown and less cacti sharpness. He smiled.
Wolfwood flopped back onto the bed and covered his eyes again. “Okay, try again,” he muttered to himself. “Ya didn’t wake up all the way.”
“I will be here no matter how many times you try to blink me away,” Saint Vash said.
