Summary
After finishing the whole conflict against Yggdrasil and the Quieting Hand's efforts to stop the peace between Askr and Embla, both nations can finally move forward together, hand in hand in unison, all celebrated with a ball party between the two.
Of course, Kiran and Veronica partook in the celebrations themselves, but only for a brief while, soon scampering off to celebrate the newly-earned peace in their own fashions. Unbeknownst to them, they were followed by Ratatoskr, the Mending Hand hoping to find some way to fully repay their efforts in saving her family.
What she stumbled upon, as well as what the repayment method she would partake in, took her by surprise, but she is by no means complaining about it!

“Thanks,” he nods. “I’m Eikþyrnir, by the way. Eikþyrnir of the Healing Hands.”
“…Prince Bruno. Of Embla.”

Something was wrong…terribly wrong…
Eikþyrnir could not stop the little voice inside, which only seemed to get louder with each day that passed without word from their father. Læraðr had never been away from Yggdrasil for so long without making contact to assure them of his wellbeing, but it was doubly concerning since the patient that he had gone to treat had been spoken of so poorly by his own subjects. Though Eikþyrnir had tried to convince himself that his father’s silence just meant that he was too busy with his healing duties he could not rid himself of the churning in his guts.

“You didn’t have to come if you had a migraine.”
Læraðr was going to find out which one of his children had told Ratatoskr about the migraine he had woken up with and have words about worrying their youngest sister unnecessarily. However much their actions might have been motivated by concern for his wellbeing, he had sworn that he would not miss Ratatoskr’s debut, her first role in which she had been cast as the leading character and something that she had talked about unceasingly in the weeks leading up to the show. Now her happiness was being poisoned by her concerns about his health, which in turn made him feel worse.

“So, you say that Prince Alfonse, Princess Sharena, and Commander Anna have all been poisoned? And Queen Henriette was poisoned in an earlier assassination attempt that injured Princess Veronica in the process?”
Hríd paused for breath, rewarded with a tiny almost imperceptible nod from his sister before she dissolved once more into tears. He was gratified to see Soren, who stood nearby, roll his eyes at the display before he went back to the book he was reading. Whether he had been tasked with looking for a solution to the problem Hríd had just outlined or was just catching up on his reading Soren seemed entirely unbothered by the situation that had thrown the Order into disarray.
“So, the only way to obtain the antidote to all these poisons is for Kiran to work out how to raise the dead?”
Fjorm nodded again, a picture of abject misery, before she finally seemed to remember what words were.
“Yes.”
He considered his next words carefully, before realising that however he framed the question on his mind his response would seem rude.
“You believe that horseshit?”
