Summary
Ever since Noriko escaped the QZ where her parents died, she pushed herself to learn medicine. She was taken into Jackson by a wandering stranger, where she was able to put her medical skills to use. It was there she met Ellie Miller, the girl who brought her comfort through her PTSD, and eventually fell in love for the first time. However, when she forgot to give Ellie something important, she found herself being saved from a group of infected by the strong Abby Anderson, unaware that Abby is here to kill Ellie's father, Joel. The whole situation spirals, and Abby sees Ellie get bit, and Ellie had to reveal that she was immune. Noriko and Ellie end up in Seattle, looking to find Abby and make sure she doesn't tell anyone about Jackson and Ellie's immunity, all while trying to navigate the twisty feelings all three girls are experiencing, and what happens when Abby's friend hears about fireflies in Santa Barbara?
