Or: since season 2 was the utter disappointment it was, here is a rewriting of the whole thing in a string of little scenes mostly novels-compliant. John is completely lost for Laszlo but of course Laszlo doesn't even see it, let alone reciprocate. The cases they work on are difficult and dangerous, but keeping on seeing Laszlo while knowing it can never work is a kind of strain John is not capable of bearing. Luckily Joseph sticks around in this little fic.

Summary
A messenger of Chaos has been sent back in time to create an alternate universe. This universe will hopefully be an example of how the world could've turned out if the gods gave enough of a shit. The Gods have been given a chance to fix all their mistakes and prevent new ones from happening. They will be reading about the future of what their world will look like if they do nothing along with their children and a select few others. Hopefully, they can change the future for the better or all these efforts will have been in vain.
I'm in the middle of editing this right now so please don't read it until I've completely finished, or the story might just not make sense at all. Not to mention I've been having major writer's block because I've been so focused on my other fics. Hopefully, I'll be able to push out a chapter sometime during Winter Break, I know I'm doing pretty much nothing then. And I don't want to just write a story that I'll regret looking back on so I'm just gonna write when the spirit comes to me.
Read if you dare but be warned, it might not be very cohesive.

What would have been fascinating at any other time was quite daunting with Voldemort on the loose. If the Death Eaters could send things to Dumbledore...have them placed in his office without the Headmaster knowing.
Albus drew his wand, casting spells from the doorway to ensure the object could be approached. Only once it was clear that the package was safe, he walked near enough to read what was written on the label that was facing the ceiling.

Upon recieving a collection of books to help in the war, Dumbledore gathered those he could trust together in order to read them. Too bad neither he, nor the Goddess who sent those books, expected another Entity to take interest in her plan, and throw in a little “help” of their own...
There was some grumbling within the crowd, but everyone took their seats as Dumbledore made to pick up the first book.
Unfortunately, it seemed the surprises weren’t over.
A bright flash, a loud popping noise, and an object crashing onto the top of the table all happened within the span of a second.
The following second, most of the adults were on their feet, wands pointed at the shape currently laying in the middle of the table, ready for whatever it was that had suddenly appeared there without warning.
On the third second, the object let out a groan, revealing it was alive, before it moved, and revealed it was a person as they raised their head.
The fourth second had the person freezing as they saw their current situation, glancing around with wide eyes, before raising a single hand towards Dumbledore, who he was looking at, and waving slightly.
“Uh… Hi?”

Harry and Hermione were both sleeping when a dark blob surrounded them in the early morning. Remus and Sirius were sat in Remus's kitchen drinking coffee when the dark blob surrounded them. Mr. and Mrs. Granger were also wake and going about their morning routine when they too were surrounded by this mass. They all appear in front of a young woman who holds four books containing what she claims to be 'truths'.
When reading this story, you will have to have the book with you (starts from book 4) since this is a story where the books are read by the characters and this is probably the only way that the story will be allowed to stay up.

Only to be kidnapped by some unforeseen beings into a room with friends, family, enemies, adults she didn’t trust, and strangers to read about her life, could you really blame her for being fed up.
