He had spent the past months thinking about what had happened in the finale, but had a very cloudy memory regarding what had taken place before that. Now he remembered. He remembered the time when he was little, the shooting stars, the boy’s dark gaze, his lips parting from his own, his sacrifice, the same eyes looking at him with fear, then melancholic joy as he toppled over, blood spouting from his lips. He remembered his body laying in a pool of blood, the only sound to accompany being the heavy rain crashing down on the arena floor.

This is an Alternate Universe from ALNST where Ivan is the one who survived, not from Round 6, but from all the way back during the Meteor Shower where he tried to run away with Till. He was then rescued by the Rebels and grew up under the guidance and love from Hyuna and the rest of the Rebels to overthrow the Alien Stage.
Ivan participates, his promise to Till keeping his will to live going. He will eventually learn to live without him, it will take a lot, however.
One thing is for sure however, he'll make sure the rest don't go like he did.
