He threw on a hoodie and sweatpants, drew his hood, grabbed his keys, and took a cab straight (pun unintended) to the gay bar downtown.
He had not, nor ever, expected himself to be where he is now; naked on a hotel bed, one leg slung over the.. shoulder..? Of a number. Yes, a literal number.

post round 5, ivan has had enough. he let the chance of escape slip through his fingers once, he won't let it happen again. he gripped tighter than ever before, his nails digging into his flesh, ignoring any pleads to stop. they ran, they ran as fast as they could as far as they could. the world outside the garden felt unfamiliar, cold... distant. personal fears and feelings were pushed to the side, the only thing on ivan's mind was escape. they found a ran down house, luckily occupied with a vehicle and supplies to last them a few months.
this fic is based on the roblox game by the same name created by the talented "VwCookie". the game simply follows an "endless ride along a road in an empty place" occasionally littered with vicious creatures; in this case, aliens.
how do till and ivan combat the new terrain ahead, especially considering they haven't been on great terms? when, or rather if, they reach the road's end, where will they go next? a long road is a short, ongoing fanfiction. any interactions (kudos, bookmarks, comments or even hits) are extremely appreciated. thank you for following this piece of fiction, i hope to not disappoint.

His eyes travelled around the familiar features–just older, but the same; thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, and that tooth, peeking over his lip even though his mouth was closed. Till’s chest heaved, and he pulled off his gloves so that his shaking hands could cradle the face, thumbing underneath tired eyes.
This had to be a dream, and he was going to wake up soon–any second now. But time only stretched on, and he was still there in that downpour, hovered over his unconscious body.

I think so.
I think he felt happy when we'd sit under that tree together and draw. When things were finally quiet and no one was looking at him. He'd stop smiling and the look in his eyes would go from determination to something more akin to curiosity. He'd touch my hand and I would mess something up. I'd nag at him but he'd just stare at me with that same expression. Like he was just trying to understand.
I think Ivan spent his entire life trying to learn how to be human. So much so that he never really had time to figure it out.
