Summary
The only constant in life is change. Sometimes it's subtle, it creeps into your life and moves so slow that you can’t see what’s happened until it’s over. Other times, it hits you like a freight train. No warning, no bracing for impact. Only the sudden contrast between before and after.
Finding your own disassembled body in a Galran lab, Lance finds, is the latter version of change.

Summary
After years of evolution, Androids became a part of humanity's everyday life. Some Androids were able to develop human-like characteristics, allowing them to be considered as proper citizens while others remained stuck in their identity of machine, used by humans.
When Lance -an android created especially for the forces of law and order- wakes up after a failed mission, two things alert him: some of his memories are missing and all these memories seem to be about his supervisor and partner, Keith Kogane.

Summary
When an escort android suddenly shows up at art student Keith Kogane’s doorstep a rainy October day in 2038, he instantly looks for the hidden camera. I mean, who the fuck would be stupid enough to think this is a good idea for a gift? Besides, he did NOT sign up for this. Nope, no robots. Never. But he quickly learns that the charm of an LX700 model is deadly, and that he is not immune to its effects. Suddenly Keith finds himself doing things he would have never imagined and feeling things that shouldn’t be possible to feel for a machine. And Lance, he seems so human. Smiling at him, flirting, complimenting and comforting him through the act. In just a few hours, Keith isn’t sure what the difference between man and machine is anymore. When Lance turns to leave, Keith braces himself for the inevitable rejection, but instead an event ensues that will throw both him and his new android companion into a spiral of events so dark and twisted that there is no way to know whether they will escape alive. And Keith won’t be the only one to ask the essential question of just what it means to be alive, and whether or not androids fall under this definition.

Lance is a prototype care android, made to take care of people that need assistance every once in a while. If he passes this, he'll me mass produced and go on to help more people in need. He's more than happy to help Adam take care of himself. As a prototype, he has a few little kinks here and there, but as long as those bugs are reported and fixed, then it's all good.
Keith is a forensic's android, made to do on site analysis of samples at crime scenes. He's partnered up to a detective names Shiro. The two of them specialize in finding and deactivating deviant android's. That is, androids that have broken their programming and no longer follow human orders. It's a thankless job, but somebody has to do it.

A boy named Keith he would break through his programming for. A boy named Keith who made him feel. Who he is now obligated to protect, not because of orders, but because of his will. Because he will do whatever it takes to keep Keith safe. Whatever it takes.

Summary
“We'll start the bidding at-“
“Thirty Million.” The words ring through the air silencing the crowd. It takes everyone, even Shiro himself a few moments to realize it was him that said them. The android looks up at him with wide eyes as he slowly steps forward. “Thirty Million, and I am taking him right now.”
“T-thirty mi-“
Shiro stops at the end of the stage, eyes refusing to leave the beautiful figure before him. He raises his hand, holding it up to the gorgeous man. “Come, let's go home.”
The android swallows hard enough that Shiro can see, and for a moment he fears he's about to be rejected when the click of heels cuts off his thoughts and long fingers settle into his palm. “It will be my pleasure.”

Summary
Keith doesn’t believe in fate. He doesn’t believe things happen for a reason, or that there is meaning to be found in every bad thing that’s happened to him. He also doesn’t believe he’ll ever be with Lance. But as he drifts through the abyss on the back of a space whale, he catches glimpses of other realities where he and his friend are inextricably tied despite forces beyond their control promising to tear them apart.
Lance is sometimes a telepathic merman, sometimes a patron at a coffee shop, and sometimes an android serving a year-long sentence for pissing the wrong people off. Keith might be a sailor, or a barista, or a professional smuggler struggling to make ends meet. It’s fucking weird, honestly, but so is living in the Quantum Abyss. Keith tries not to let it get to him. It still does, though. He wonders how he could ever get over someone when he’s forced to watch himself fall in love with them over and over again.

Summary
Keith doesn't care much for androids. In fact, he's convinced they're just "toasters with pretty faces".
This is until Lance, the VS200 working at the same bar as him, becomes deviant and proves him how very, very wrong he is. (Then again, humans will pack-bond with anything.)Series

Summary
Maybe he should answer the question though, and Shiro would stop looking at him as if he had swallowed the entire milk carton again.
“I’m not sure” He admitted. Both of them turned to look at the young looking android waiting for them outside the office, taking Griffin’s shit with a emotionless face. Who knew what it really was thinking. Did androids think?
“I know how much you despise androids, but..” There it was. Kudos to him, he had been expecting that convincing tone. “But maybe, if you work together, you can find Sam. And Matt”.
He hated his brother with all his heart, even more than when he had left the spinach in the oven that one time. More than anything, really, because Keith knew he was fucking right. -

Matthew Holt is a renowned inventor and maybe, just maybe he could actually change this shitshow of a world.
Instead, he tries to overdose on caffeine, and he sleeps under his computer desk, and he only talks to his own damn robots.
Matt Holt is a depressing loser, probably.
Maybe that's why he takes the commission to make the stupid companion droid.
