Meredith and Bailey were sent to a two-week Medical Conference in Boston — in behalf of Dr. Richard Webber. Bailey, unfortunately, had to leave on the 3rd day because of a personal emergency and went back to Seattle. Meredith bumps into Addison who is coincidentally invited to speak in the Medical Conference. They talked and went out for drinks. The next day, they wake up — naked and very much married. AU: What if Derek didn’t die and Amelia freaks out when she realizes she’s pregnant (with who later becomes baby Scout). Even though Derek’s around, it’s not enough to calm her so Amelia calls Jake and Addison in LA. Also, in this AU, Mark’s funeral doesn’t happen until after Jake and Addison get engaged. And yes, there will be a little flashback to Mark’s funeral since we never got to see it on Grey’s Anatomy. This fanfiction rewrites parts of the latter half of Grey’s Anatomy season 16 as well as Private Practice season six.
