Summary
The Guardians of Childhood take their job very seriously; Pitch’s large-scale attempt to rid the world of them failed miserably, only strengthened by the newest Guardian of Fun’s entrance. The Boogeyman has since been kept at bay, fear easy to overcome. Wonder, hope, dreams, memories, and fun are maintained, and the Guardians have found solace in their jobs and in each other.
That is, until the elusive Man in the Moon decides to contact again, and suddenly a new Guardian is needed. It seems the Guardians might have overestimated their victory, and something foul has been brewing in the fifty years since Pitch vanished—or did he simply hide? While Jack and the others think they can handle anything that comes their way, their silent overseer thinks otherwise, and they are suddenly faced with another brand new member in record time. A Guardian(?) that rises with a storm in her chest and a timeless grudge, as terror threatens to close in with an even greater vehemence.

Ten years ago, the world almost fell to darkness. With the help of the (now former) boogeyman and his new partner, the Guardians managed to beat back the shadows.
Like the rest of the Guardians, Bunnymund has since settled into the new peace that the world is in. One night, he comes across a strange person who hands him a powerful time artifact they should not have access to. A few minutes later, the same person helps him out, denying that they handed him anything.
So begins a story of past denial, future acceptance, and present mistakes.
