    A deadly cat after the mouse he and that otherworldly creature had played in that dark and cold gravity-less void. Leo had never felt anxiety like that, the fear gripping him when he heard the alien chuckle from somewhere… somewhere he didn’t know, couldn’t pinpoint. The ever expanding dimension echoing the cackles and laughs around him like a haunting timer ticking down to when he would be discovered again, his own fast and shallow breaths meeting his ear holes when he hid behind debris and inside the empty hulls of old Kraang suits from long dead demons.

    Leo is home safe from the prison dimension, they beat the Kraang, New York was saved.

    Everything was okay, so why did Leo still feel scared? Why did every creak in the dark make his heart race and hands sweat?

    How could he even begin to try and tell his family?

    Smiling faces stare back at him. Familiar, yet unfamiliar. A version of his family that has long since died in a timeline where he wasn't able to make things right. Where his mistake cost them everything.

    All dead, because of him.

    "Nononononononono", he mutters under his breath. His voice doesn't even begin to convey the fear and grief that is slowly choking him.

    Leo spots blood stains on one corner of the photo. They are smeared over part of Mikey's face and he softly brushes his thumb over them, absent-mindedly wondering why he is able to see them at all. His room is too dark to make out small details like this.

    Which is the moment he realizes that the room is not as dark as it had been a minute ago. A circle of dark purple light is forming directly beneath his right hand. Leo recognizes it as a portal even before his fist sinks into it and unfortunately it takes him a few precious seconds to get over his shock and rip his hand back out again.

    It is too late. Something on the other side has sensed him and this time it's not letting him go.

    "Stop." Raph didn't sound sharp anymore. Instead it was more soft, but stern. "Close the door." Leo was sweating now and he actually didn't think Raph, his own brother, would go through with this. He did as he was told.
