Summary
Halley Vega wakes up in Queens, ten centimeters taller, with movie-romance hair and a phone buzzing with messages from someone named Margaret asking if he’s seen Iron Man. Before he can figure out what happened to his life, an email from Stark Industries pops up: Pepper Potts wants to interview him for a personal assistant job. Spoiler: he gets it—but the position involves far more superhero crises than board meetings.
Soon, Halley learns three truths: an MBA doesn’t prepare you for Avengers-level problems, vague blockbuster memories can count as tactical weapons, and cleaning up the world’s mess is harder than scrubbing a dive bar bathroom. Between the Chitauri Invasion, an off-script Loki, a hole-ridden SHIELD, Hydra schemes, and a certain Winter Soldier in need of a “preventive kidnapping,” Halley does his best to keep the MCU from collapsing with improvisation, chaotic friends, and sheer stubbornness.
In short: stuck in the MCU against his will, Halley juggles couch espionage, improvised heroics, and crisis management—trying to save as many people as possible before catastrophe becomes the norm.
