‘Funny,’ Keira says, unable to bite back the anger now scouring her throat. ‘I’d heard your job was just sitting around with your thumb up your ass while Jak does all the real work and then spends the night with your girlfriend.’-
Six years after Jak leaves Haven to seek out the Precursors’ secrets, nobody has time to help Keira figure out who she's supposed to be and Torn is struggling to find his place in a city that no longer needs a revolution. The thing is, they seem to be the answer to each other's problems - and neither of them are particularly happy about it.

Being tortured with Dark Eco injections burns, but beyond a certain point of seperating just enough Green Eco to not die, Jak finds it helps his memory. He remembers things. He remembers his times in Sandover, with Daxter, Keira, Samos, and his uncle. He remembers times before that. A gun turret. An island. A ship. A beach.
He remembers that Gol could fly, and Maia Teleport. And he remembers being free.
Spargus has no idea how or why this child just appeared in their market, but they will get to the bottom of this.

What Sig finds is a nightmare super-soldier project, and Jak, a year and a half before he's "meant" to be rescued.
Believing him to be one of several Spargans kidnapped by Marauders, Sig calls Damas, who agrees to find Jak's family.Damas doesn't know what a can of worms he's just opened.

One day a huge storm came in which made all the roads close and the power went out. Your parents went down to the basement to grab some generators, but during that... you dad found his old PS2 and games. Copies of the Sly Cooper, Rachet & Clank, and Jak And Daxter franchises. You were too young to really play, but your dad thought it would be fun to show you. He just didn't remember why he put his PS2 away in the basement. He brought it upstairs and hooked it up next to his PS3, PS4, and PS5. He tried to play, but... the laser didn't work. he went online to order a part so you took the controller, saw the save files on the memory cards and... lightning struck the house. You were then sucked in the T.V. along with a few controllers your dad had... Press start to begin.

Sometimes he'd see it come back when they talked at work, other times he'd see it go out mid-conversation, like this morning in Haven. He can see when Jak's mind stomps out that spark. The Precursors seem to be behind all of this. And Jak and Daxter will have to face not only Errol and Veger, but also another enemy, the true leader of the Dark Makers
