Each chapter is a standalone(ish) rewrite of some of the scenes in Julian's route to add my OC and some smut. I wrote these for myself because Julian and Altheia referenced them in Tides of Memories and because I like writing smut, what can I say.
Rewritten scenes:
1 - Villainous Thing: the first meeting in the prologue.
2 - Show Me: The 'Pat him down' paid scene in the prologue.
3 - Not-so Deadly Star Strand: The 'Enter the forbidden garden.' paid scene in Book VI Chapter 2. The one with the flower.
4 - Pin Him Down (part 1): The "I'll keep an eye on him." paid scene in Book VI Chapter 3. Giving the man some soup. Eventually.
5 - Pin Him Down (part 2): Continuing to pin him down. By tying him to the bed.
6 - Ravish Me, this is a Library: The paid scene in the library in Book VIII Chapter 2. The ravishing that they deserve.
7 - You Can Just Have It - The scene at Portia's cottage in Book VIII Chapter 3. Julian and Altheia have a heart to heart. -

Being under Count Lucio's strict orders to find a cure for the Red Plague was physically, emotionally, and psychologically taxing, for lack of a better term. Ground down to their bones, each has their own daily struggle and headache, from the lowest orderly to even the Countess herself.
On one particularly stressful evening, the Countess invites Asra and Julian for a nightcap. They find themselves racing to the end of a Golden Goose bottle, tryin to rid themselves of the great weight that had been pressing down on their shoulders. And as soon as the Countess leaves, they examine the restraints that they have broken free of. Raw and free, they give in to the call of flesh, seeking physical solace from each other, feverish under the light of the moon.

As you help each other out of your clothes, you notice the expression on Julian's face. He looks.... anxious. His touch lingers on your bared skin, but there's a hesitancy to him; as if he's afraid something will happen if he presses too hard. He swoops in to press a kiss to your lips before you can voice your concern, the light fabric of a robe settling around your shoulders as he leads you further into the room. He pulls away when you reach the edge of the bath, stepping down into the water and casting an almost shy smile at you as he holds his hand out.
