Summary
After she arrives on Voyager, a Starfleet vessel, Maquis B'Elanna Torres reviews her history, especially as it pertains to Thomas Paris. She records her perceptions of old and new crew mates as well as aliens they meet during their flight through the Delta Quadrant towards their homes in the Alpha Quadrant (and, in a few cases, the Beta Quadrant).
Although the stories follow the "canon" of the show pretty closely, some inclusions that do not directly contradict what was portrayed visually on the series do appear.
The three original stories first published separately on the ASC mail service in the late 1990's will appear here as chapters in a single work. The final chapters are new and were first published in 2024 and 2025.

On Stardate 2371, the ISS Aegis, pride of the Terran Imperial fleet—a massive Odyssey-class warship—was pulled by the Caretaker’s array from the Mirror Universe into the Prime Universe in place of the USS Voyager. Now it hung cloaked at the far end of the Delta Quadrant like a stone rippling a pond of stars, cloaked but crippled. The bridge of the Aegis was a maelstrom of chaos. Panels exploded. Wires hung from the ceiling. The klaxon screamed. The emergency lights glowed red. The air smelled of burnt circuitry, and a faint haze lingered amid shattered consoles.
None aboard knew their location or its cause, but one truth was clear: the Delta Quadrant would never be the same.

I'm going to attempt #Fictober again this year, but—huge but—I’m mid-way through the final steps of releasing a collection, so it’s not going to be as smooth or as every-day as previous years. I’m taking the opportunity to use the prompts for my Star Trek: Voyager Cavit-Ro Alternate Retelling series, mostly set in or around 2374, which means these should mostly all take place during Season 4 (again). Year of Hell I and II ended up taking so very long to release (mostly because they weren’t just five acts and a teaser) that I’m still in 2374 this Fictober like last Fictober, but I think I’ve got enough stories I can tell from that time period.
Part of that is, I hope, that I’m going to be spending more time with visits to places Voyager has already been, since I really enjoy writing “what happened after” stories, and Voyager rarely looked back...

The Dominion chooses this time to launch their attack on DS9 and Kathryn Janeway is torn between needing to keep hope alive for finding Will, and the fight for the Federation she loves.

This is a heavily canon-divergent, plot-driven story with plenty of Janeway/Riker romance. There’s a summary of previous events in the a/ns if you want to hop on board here. Note that the tone is darker than previous entries, with graphic depictions of violence, and minor character death. There is no major character death, however, and with me the angst always has a happy ending. E-rated smut for J/R.

This stems from a conversation in the bookclub about Suder and why Chakotay wasn’t involved in that story. I am fixing this oversight and will be looking at Suder's place on the ship, Chakotay's guilt and the debate about how the hell you punish someone for murder on a ship when you don't know long you will be stuck there .
