Her recovery brings them closer together, and when he tells her about the mating bond—also against his better judgement—Feyre agrees to let him court her while she decides whether to accept it.

“Your home is… not what I expected.” This house was so different from Tamlin’s manor in Spring, with its stone floors and echoing hallways.
Rhys shrugged. “I like soft chairs and a warm fire, and to have a comfortable place to entertain my friends.”
“Do you even have friends?” He’d always been aloof Under the Mountain, pretending to prefer Amarantha’s company alone. But that had been a lie. What else about his persona there had been a facade?
“If I’d lived for five hundred years and hadn’t made any friends, I’d be doing something wrong, don’t you agree?”
Feyre hummed, lost in thought. For the first time, she considered that Rhys might have a vibrant life in the Night Court that he’d lost during Amarantha’s reign. That he had family and friends who had missed him. Maybe even a lover.

Somewhere far away, a shrill ringing started up—the deafening pealing of a thousand bells drawing closer and closer, until my head rang.
Mate.
I was going to be sick. “What?”
The golden-haired female holding Rhys drew in a ragged breath, her eyes going wide, and Rhys swallowed thickly before repeating, "She's my mate, Mor."
Driven by instinct in the split-second after the mating bond snaps, Rhys abducts Feyre from the balcony during their goodbyes.And now that Feyre has seen Velaris and witnessed Rhysand break down in another female’s arms, spouting nonsense about mating bonds, she is forbidden to leave the Night Court. Forbidden, that is, until Rhysand’s Inner Circle agrees that she poses no threat to the security and secrecy of the City of Starlight.
She may be Prythian’s newly anointed Cursebreaker and their High Lord’s mate, but as Tamlin’s lover, Feyre has a lot to prove in order to convince them to let her go.

Her large violet star-filled eyes are my sky. Her warm breath on my face is the wind. Her skin is the earth I wish to rove and explore for the rest of my days. Here in this place, it doesn’t matter that we are from different courts. It doesn’t matter that she isn’t pure-blooded. She smiles, more beautiful than any spring rose, and moves to close the small distance between our lips. My eyes close in anticipation, but I don’t feel the soft delight of her lips upon my own. I don’t feel her pulsing heartbeat on my chest.

Rhys accidentally finds out about Tamlin exploding the study when Feyre has a panic attack and refuses to let her leave until she masters her powers enough to protect herself. Feyre is angry-depressed, Rhys thinks banter is communication, no one is having a good time (except Mor probably if she shows up.)
EDIT: Current estimate it will end up around 8-9 chapters.
EDIT AGAIN: Probably more than that because I keep adding bits on but I've given up on accurate estimates at this point. It will continue past the original one week timeline, but not all the way to the end of ACOMAF. -
