Summary
Viktor watches through slitted eyes as a bead of sweat drips from Jayce’s temple, down the slope of his cheekbones, onto that sharp jaw and then even lower, following the contours of his neck before it disappears into his collar. A fan spins lazily, not doing much except pushing around hot air, and Jayce groans, a low deep thing that makes Viktor shift. He tips his head back, throat gleaming from perspiration.
“When do you think the cooling system will be fixed?” he asks the air, not looking at Viktor.
“Heimerdinger said it shouldn’t take long. But he said that, eh. An hour ago.”
When the cooling system in the lab breaks, the heat begins to get to Jayce and Viktor, in more ways than one. (aka: the heat wave mutual masturbation fic)

What Jayce really needs is for time to just stop. Just for a moment. So he can get his bearings, figure out what’s wrong with their current prototype, catch up on the paperwork they need to submit to the council—oh, and he hasn’t seen Caitlyn or his mum for a while, too, and he and Viktor haven’t done anything together outside of the lab for a few weeks, and—
—And maybe sleep. He could use sleep, too, probably. He’s only been able to catch a few hours total for the past few days. At least this time there’s no falling grades to make it obvious, but judging by the concerned looks people keep throwing him it might still be, anyway.

She’d drawn them for Silco once, just to show a glimpse into her mind, and he’d looked so sad and did his best to make her forget. She did her best to make him forget too. She should’ve never shown him.
