Summary
"I'm not—"
There'd been no point finishing that sentence. First of all, it was irrelevant; second of all, it could lead to running his mouth. "I'm not into you" was something he'd already tried to express to Reynolds without success. "I'm not gay" could be—and probably would be, in California—met with the legitimate point that you don't have to be gay to be attracted to a man. And, of course, "I'm not bi" or "I'm not into men" would be…well. He wasn't sure what that would be.
(Spoiler alert: a lie. That's what it would be.)
Takes place after The Amazing Psych-Man & Tap-Man, Issue #2 (s6e4). Shawn finally gives himself permission to think about it.

"I've barely ever seen you two in the same room, and I've still seen the way you look at him," she was saying. "Every time his name comes up, you get all starry-eyed."
"Because he's awesome," Shawn protested. "Did I tell you the grappling hook story?"
"Yes, Shawn, you've told me the grappling hook story. And the wing suit. And how good his moustache looked, even though it was objectively ridiculous."
"It worked! It worked on him," Shawn insisted. "You saw it!"
"I did see it. That's how I know it was ridiculous."Juliet tries to lure her boyfriend out of the closet by sharing something she recently learned about herself.

"Okay," she tried again, "what would it mean to you to be bisexual?"
When Juliet first got her cat, she tried to train him to walk on a harness and leash so she could take him with her on hikes. "I could picture you with him." She smiled wickedly. "The next time you go down on me, I'll be picturing him behind you."
"Doing what?"
"Guess."
"Oh, doing me. Yeah, that tracks." He grinned. "I can see that."After their double date with Barbie and Clive Noble at the Parador, Shawn and Juliet enjoy a private moment on the veranda.

Summary
While he was awake, Shawn was able to divert and suppress and reframe his thoughts so they were less blatantly homoerotic. When he was asleep, it was a different story. He had all kinds of excuses for why his dreams were in direct contradiction to his putative sexuality in waking life, but on some level, he had always known they were weak at best.
These are the narratives Shawn creates.

They stared at each other, breathing heavily, literally and figuratively heated. Shawn had a sudden mental image of them as wild beasts circling each other, each waiting for the other to pounce, but in reality, they were just two assholes being ridiculous in a kitchen.

Summary
“At this point, I feel like we could just get one necklace that says ‘slut’ and just say whatever adjectives we want in the moment,” she mused.
“Mm…no, that’s not as fun,” he said apologetically, shaking his head. His brow furrowed thoughtfully. “Maybe we could get a plain slut necklace and then separate ones for greedy and filthy and cock, and then we could double them up? That way we don’t have to pay for the extra four letters every time.”
Juliet has decided that Shawn would look good in dainty custom necklaces. Now they’re brainstorming their options.
