Seth gently pulled his hands away and brought them to his lips, kissing over his knuckles, murmuring sweet things against Stefon's skin that made him feel like he could fucking melt.
The year is 2005 and Seth finds himself at the premiere party of some indie comedy that Lorne produced when he's introduced to the one that got away, the one who would come back to him 5 years later, rolling into frame and rolling on molly.

"Look at yourself, Stefon. Fucking look." Stefon didn't want to, he was scared of what he would see. But he knew this wouldn't end if he didn't, so he pried his eyes open and looked at himself for the first time in too long.
He saw the dark circles under his eyes, the yellowing on his cheekbone from a healing bruise, the hollowness of his cheeks and the way his lips were dry and chapped, still scabbed over from the last time Alexander busted his lip.
And there under it all was the ugly indentations of fingers, wrapped around his neck in shades of gray, purple, yellow, and green.
Stefon finally tells Seth the story of his ex, Alexander.

Whether it be ecstasy, cocaine, adderall, you fucking name it, they are always high when they're together. Stefon has seen a side to Shy no one else has and vice versa and he likes having access to that. It's like when peanut butter get stuck to the roof of your mouth.
