Summary

Míril has patrolled the lands of Eriador in service of her chieftain Aragorn for decades. Raised by Halbarad, his second in command, she is no stranger to the forces of evil. When word reaches Míril that Gandalf has gone missing and Black Riders have attacked the Prancing Pony, she acts once again in service of her chieftain alongside long time friends, Elladan and Elrohir. Or maybe one is more than a friend?
But nightmares of a deep ocean, blood on golden sands, and a shining white jewel begin to plague her sleep, causing the Wise in Middle Earth to fear the fiery blood running through her veins can no longer stay hidden. Neither from Sauron, nor from Míril herself.

Manwë, King of the Valar and King of All Arda, can no longer endure the cruelties of his brother, Melkor. The Orcs have spread across Middle-earth, terrorizing Elves and Men. The Shadow of Melkor has grown, and his malice knows no end, or mercy. Manwë then begs Nienna, Lady of Sorrow, to persuade Melkor to give up his poisonous dream. For the history of Middle-earth has told of Melkor's wicked and evil deeds, and named him Morgoth. But the legends have not told of how the Dark Vala fell in love, from the Beginning of Time, with She Who Weeps.

“That is tomorrow’s concern, which I will treat with utmost seriousness and urgency,” Halbrand vowed. “But what of tonight?” He asked in a low voice, his lips hovering just above hers.
Galadriel could hardly breathe. And could think of no more excuses to not reach for what her heart greatly desired.

Galadriel and Ereinion are bored; Elrond wants to let his inner mad scientist out; Fingolfin just wants to wallow alone for a while; Finarfin is in desperate need of a vacation and Feanor decides it’s time to break himself and his only blood-related grandson out of the Halls of Mandos.
