Waking up back in time was not the plan but Dick wasn’t complaining. He finally has his family back and he will not lose them again.
Robin has always been able to do what Batman couldn’t. It was okay that Bruce won’t kill. Dick wouldn’t ask him to compromise his morals.
But he had no such restrictions. He doesn’t mind killing, getting his hands dirty, and being a monster if it means his family is alive.

Jason Todd couldn't come home because Joker was alive and Tim Drake was Robin so... if Tim Drake killed Joker then that would leave Robin open for Jason to come home and claim right? Now if only the Joker would actually die in all the death traps Tim had set up.

Tim wakes up inexplicably in his two-year-old body. Which: odd. But just think, how many people would kill to have an opportunity to redo their life! And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?
Or: He was halfway through the second trash can, when a startled “Good lord” caught him off guard. Tim glanced up, the rhythmic sucking of his pacifier coming to a still at the sight of a black Rolls Royce idling at the side road that lead to Wayne Manor. Summary
Moonlight lit up a darkened apartment. He blinked stinging tears out of his eyes. He couldn't recognise anything in the dim lights coming from the streets far, far below. Before he could do anything else, before he could even really take in where he was, a lamp flicked on and a gun was aimed at him.
A man with a metal arm stood wielding it with an ice cold expression on his face. “Who the hell are you?” he rasped, voice cold.
Jason shifted, blinking when he moved out of the shadows and into the light.
“Jason?” The man's gun dropped to his side. “Is that blood?”
“Buck, what's going on?” A boy emerged from the hallway, wearing red pajamas covered in multicolored books, and wiping his eyes like he'd just woken up. “What was that noise?”
Jason gasped when the boy pulled his hands from his face.
It was him. Little him. Tiny him.
He blinked but the kid was still there. This couldn’t be real — it had to be some type of dying dream. A hallucination, or coma.
“Buck?” Little him asked again, voice wobbling as his eyes darted between the two of them. “Is that me?”
Jason decided that this was a good time to pass out.
