Summary
Part one of a three-part-series of my original female character's romantic relationship with the Octoboss, spanning from a few years before Furiosa to the Stowaway attack on the war rig. This first part will be focusing on the Mortifiers and how they function to keep the Horde organized, and why the twelve tribes that were originally united under Dementus were fewer by the film.
Two years prior to Furiosa's abduction, the Horde is carving its way up to the coast of the Northern Territory. Reeling from a recent plague and betrayal, they capture a small gang that once inhabited an offshore oil platform. One of its members, Pav, becomes the Octoboss's teacher, and his eventual wife.

Summary
When Jack sets out for his first run in the brand new War Rig, he's hoping for a quiet day. Instead, the run ends with his men dead and his convoy hijacked — and the biker holding a gun to his head turns out to be the daughter of Dementus himself.
Dee doesn't think twice about telling the War Rig's praetorian to pull over and get out. For her, it's just another day in service of Gastown and the Biker Horde, doing what she has to do to survive. And she learned a long time ago that preserving her own life often comes at the cost of someone else's.
But when the rest of her mission doesn't go as planned, that praetorian might just be the only person she can trust.
