Summary
Charlie has always loved deeply, even when she shouldn't.
It's a trait from her father, who loved to the point of falling. He loved her mother, even if she were a woman who did nothing but hurt him. He loved his brothers and sisters, even as they cast him out for rebellion. He's never wavered in that love, even as he was hurt time and time again.
That is something Charlie and Lucifer have in common: They both love deeply, desperate to help no matter the cost. They, to her mother's disdain, are alike more than most would like to acknowledge. Charlie though, is not ashamed of their likeness. Their kindness, their love is a strength, even if most would claim the opposite.
It's what's fueled her belief that sins could change, could improve. It's what's motivated her father to support her. They are mirror images, and it shows in the future unfolding.
