4. When Ryan and Jodie are asleep, get out through fire escape in the bedroom (put a chair under the door, they won’t open the door all day if they think it’s locked)

In a way, Sonic was drowning in his own thoughts, until Shadow came to pull him out of the roaring waves. As Sonic came back to his senses and got his barings back, the first thing he noticed was Shadow kneeling in front of him, hands on his shoulders.
Eyes snapped into place to look at Shadow, his glossy black quills accented with that tantalizing crimson red, golden rings on his wrists in the corner of Sonic’s vision and the glowing ruby red eyes that stared back into his. The hybrid's eyes had something in them, something, some sort of emotion, an emotion the blue blur had never seen on his rival before.
