Summary
Kaz Rietveld was placed into foster care with his brother Jordie at age nine, but the family he was given to was a farce. After suffering Jordie’s death and his imprisonment and depraved abuse for seven years, he is rescued and placed into the Fahey home at the request of his new social worker Nadia. Terrified of who he views as his new captors and abusers, Kaz must learn what it’s like to live life without danger around every corner while Colm navigates how best to help his poor charge who has been to Hell and back. Summary
Every now and then, it happens that a star falls down to Earth. Why? Because they want this, want to explore the Earth, are on a mission so to say. And so, Wylan is the first star in ages to go on this adventure, because he's been seeing so much about love, but has no idea what it feels like. One hundred days are given to him to accomplish his mission, and then he can decide whetehr to stay on Earth or return to his spot on the night sky.
But it is not that easy for a fallen star on Earth, because there are always people who want to capture the star for their own gain. Riches, Immortality... Are they stories people tell their children or ist it really true what people have been saying for centuries? Some people believe it, others don't, but when the Crows are face to face with a human being instead of some kind of rock, even Jesper Faahey has to admit that there might be some truth to the stories. The only problem is, that Jan van Eck hired them to get the star for him, and especially once they get to know Wylan, they doubt that giving him to van Eck is such a good idea. Even more so when Wylan sneaks his way past the walls Jesper built around his heart.
And of course, they're not the only ones after the star... -

Summary
Kanej Wensen - Wishes for Kaz and Inej
In each of the stories in this series, I've explored what it looks like for Kaz and Inej to have a healthy romantic relationship, including a lot of intimacy and sex, as they figure out their issues together and make up for lost time. What if Kaz has spent considerable time working on himself, trying to figure out how to lower his armor, and invite touch that isn't pain? What does it look like for Inej to reclaim her own personal power and sexuality, finding freedom and feeling secure in herself? When Inej returns to Ketterdam for a longer stay, since her ship needs repairs, they've both grown enough to give a new iteration of their relationship a try. In later stories, I've expanded out a bit, given more background information, personal development, and created some new characters for Inej's crew and the Dregs. Including one very fierce cat.
