Summary
There was an abandoned structure, deep into the forest near the village.
A big temple of some sorts. Or at least, what was left of it.
The place was abandoned.
Both by the people and the gods.
Nobody could even remember what the temple was supposed to worship in the first place. Time had passed and moved on without any sign that its walls ever existed other than their presence. Not even the village’s elderly could recall any rumors or legends about it. There was not a single text left or anyone to tell the tale of the sanctuary.
But there was something.
A statue.
- Or Tommy takes a strange statue as his father.

There was nothing he could do about it, just being a spectator of the world around him.
“If you so wish, it is not like I could stop you” he answered, although his voice didn’t reach him.
