Peter didn’t mind being known as the Left Hand, he didn’t like to get close to most people and he hated being vulnerable, so if everyone was too afraid to get close to him, it was a win-win.
Being feared made his job a lot easier— sometimes he didn’t even have to follow through, the threat of him was enough to make people second guess their challenge to the Hale Pack. It was that threat that usually kept people from trying to attack Peter. Sure, he had fended off many attacks, especially in his early days as the Left Hand, but most were too afraid to go after him directly.
Which is why he didn’t notice at first that he had a stalker.
Or, the one where Stiles is stalking Peter and Peter is into it. Peter breaks into Stiles' house, as one does, and they fuck nasty.
