“Hm,” Alhaitham curls into himself, eyes looking up at him wantonly. He’s clearly buzzed, flush sitting high on his cheeks. “If you took a bite waiting too long for it to ripen, wouldn’t it have gone bad?”
Kaveh breathes out heavily. This minx.
“You wouldn’t go bad for me, would you?”

Kaveh comes back to Sumeru after years of moving away. His return evokes old feelings to come bubbling to the surface, for both him and Alhaitham.
