Summary
As the world watches, horrified, Japan being destroyed by a pack of giants, the appearance of a similar giant gate over Seoul causes global panic.
But Igris, one of famed S-rank hunter Sung Jin-Woo’s summons, shockingly makes a public speech claiming that that specific gate is filled with allies in the war against other monster types, and that the currently comatose Hunter Sung is the new and undisputed ruler of all undead creatures.
Meanwhile, in a dream, Jin-Woo meets a strange “man” named Ashborn, who plans to reveal to him the origin of gates and what the title of Shadow Monarch truly means.
