Stanley was so tired of this endless time loop. Nothing seemed to matter anymore, not even the chance for freedom. And so he let himself slip over the edge, hoping to be met with his final death.
The narrator was so tired of Stanley, who wasn't listening to his begging. His memories of past runs were so foggy, it seemed like it all didn't matter in the end. Yet, he wanted freedom from the system that kept him trapped.
But every wish comes with a consequence. Sometimes even the destruction of what you loved most.

Taking place in a modern alternate universe, Stanley and Nolan (Narrator) meet each other through a strange circumstance.
Stanley, who's lived in the woods for the past 4 years and has avoided human contact as much as possible, is faced with the challenge of taking care of an idiotic British man who trekked through a blizzard to get to his cabin.
Nolan, who's been a radio show host for most of his life, is forced to stay in a cabin with a strange man who looks like he's killed multiple people in his life after he idiotically traveled through a blizzard to get to shelter.Will the two get along or will the two tear each other's heads off?

This might as well be a fever dream of an AU, but to add SOME clarity of any kind, this AU is heavily inspired by the games: Perfect Vermin, Close Your Eyes, and How Fish Are Made. It's also inspired by the songs Animals by STOMACH BOOK, People Eater by Soken as well as the general aesthetic of meatcore.
What any of this means, I don't have a clue. I'm really going for vibes and hoping that makes a plot.
