Look- Techno hadn't meant to get into this line of work.
He'd been planning to go into editing, or at the very least something book related, once he'd finished his English degree: the research job with the Magnus Institute was supposed to be temporary, something a friend had hooked him up with, to finance the ridiculously overpriced cost of living in London until he could get a better job.
He'd finished his degree two and a half years ago, now, and still hadn't quite gotten around to applying for any of the local publishing houses.
Ah well - at least taking the offer of Head Archivist would come with a pay rise, right? What was the worst that could happen?

“Look at your precious hero! So weak, so pitiful. This is who you rely on? You don’t even know who it is! Yet you put all your trust in this guy,” the villain growled at the camera. He placed his hand on Siren’s mask. “Why don’t we see who your hero is?” The villain said as he ripped off the mask, revealing Siren’s identity to the world.
This was all really confusing for Siren though, considering he was on his couch at home watching the news as someone who was most definitely not him was unmasked.
OR
A heroes/villains au where some guy fakes being a big hero, Siren, and gets captured and beat on his behalf, ending up on a live broadcast to the world where the villains reveal his identity, but the actual hero is watching from home and is very confused.

After another successful summer at Schlatt's Quarry Summer Camp, the councilors are a little bummed about leaving so soon, chances are they'll never see or hear from one another again seeing as they couldn't swap socials due to the confiscation of phones per Mr. Schlatt's request. Dream Wastaken, however, was more bummed than the rest. His summer fling with George Davidson wasn't *just* a fling, y'know? He felt a real connection there and he wasn't about to let possibly the best thing that has ever happened to him slip away so easily. All he needs is time... and the motor arm to their get-away van. Look, it'll be fine! It's only one more night. What's the worst that could happen? :)
