Summary
Ponk knows so little about how life is supposed to work, and he knows so much about how it doesn't. All the running he has done has tired his legs to the point he no longer knows how to use them. The only feeling left to him is that of wet grass tickling his ankles. Ponk silently hopes that whatever this new server- this new home- has in store for him, will allow him to breathe for a bit, to feel safe. Maybe he will even find friends along the way.
Now, when Ponk gets scared, he goes to his safe place. Or, what's left of it. This safe place is as old as he is, and clearly just as broken and misshapen as him and everyone else who used to go there. He wanted to feel safe, but instead he got to go on a trip down memory lane, to the good times. The safe times. Because this isn't his safe place anymore, but rather somewhere where he can imagine it still is.
Or: Ponk walks into the Dream SMP in hopes of a new life. Here are the four times Ponk made new friends, and the one time he takes time to question where everything went wrong.

After another successful summer at Schlatt's Quarry Summer Camp, the councilors are a little bummed about leaving so soon, chances are they'll never see or hear from one another again seeing as they couldn't swap socials due to the confiscation of phones per Mr. Schlatt's request. Dream Wastaken, however, was more bummed than the rest. His summer fling with George Davidson wasn't *just* a fling, y'know? He felt a real connection there and he wasn't about to let possibly the best thing that has ever happened to him slip away so easily. All he needs is time... and the motor arm to their get-away van. Look, it'll be fine! It's only one more night. What's the worst that could happen? :)

Wilbur shrugged again. "I dunno, it's not like I can influence it. It's based on who you are as like, a person. My house'll just be me, I don't have to care about it before I get it." George looked down with a furrow of his brow. "What about you, though?"
George perked up. "I want to be in Ravenclaw! I guess you're right, but I think Ravenclaw would be fun. They're the smart ones."
"I think it's more complicated than that, but yeah. Ravenclaws are cool." Wilbur agreed.
