They stood there in a silence for a moment. Then Rodney spoke. "You saved him. Yeah, I know, nothing of that would be possible had I not deciphered the whale’s song and connect the ZPM to the Daedalus‘ systems and such, but you? You figured it all out. Guess you picked out a thing or two from your stint with the Ancients, huh?"
"Yeah, " John nodded absentmindedly. "I guess I did."

The team head to the planet where this Ancient had his laboratory, but hit trouble as soon as they're through the gate. Stuck on a frozen world, the only viable place to wait is the laboratory, only it is not quite as abandoned as they think.

Ever since the Dark Flour Wars and the disappearance of the Ancient Cookies a few years ago.
A lot of cookies have mixed feelings on this particular events.
Especially in the present time.
On the one hand: There were some cookies were grateful for Ancients sacrificing their lives to save them, and hope that they will come back.
But on the other hand: there were some who were furious at the ancients for leaving them to get either killed or destroyed by the Cookies of Darkness and their remaining dark army.
And unfortunately this is what both Crunchy Chip Cookie and Wildberry Cookie learns about during their Night Patrol of searching for that lost Soulgem.
