So when a new arrival slammed the doors open and Annabeth Chase gasped in delight, all Poseidon could do was lean back in his seat with a wide grin on his face.

    “Oh, for fuck’s sake,” Percy said, obviously exhausted.

    Poseidon felt a bit faint, and he vaguely recognized the demigods sharing popcorn at their feet.

    Percy is pretty used to everything that happens around him. Crazy monster wants to hunt him down and skin him? Sure, why not? Everyone needs a hobby. The Gods debating whether or not he deserves to live? Average Monday. He's found the mundane in the insanity that surrounds him.

    Of course, this just serves to give his uncle and cousins from Gotham a heart attack everytime he opens his mouth. They were used to magic and aliens and evil scientists but demigods? This was new to them and Percy didn't seem all that keen on easing them into it.

    Hermes’ fingers, which had previously danced over the screen of his caduceus halted and he raised an eyebrow as he looked up at Poseidon.

    The Lord of the Sea held his head high, regally, unrelenting. His eyes were as dark as the waters surrounding Charybdis and his glance bored into each and every one of them, while his hands rested on his trident.

    Old, done a million times and completely self-indulgent.

    If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.

    If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.

    He was finally accepted at both Camps. Got a good amount of friends and dating his complete Polar Opposite, Will Solace.

    Despite all this Nico is still haunted by nightmares in Taturus and the skeletons (literally and figuratively) in his closest.

    Now, Chrion and his Dad, decides that it would be great to send Nico and Will on a quest:

    Kill the Psychopathic Wannabe Dark Lord Voldermort (cause he is putting a lot of Paperwork on Hades head for escaping death!).

    "Don't they use t-ball at that age?" Reyna asked, her lips curving upward.

    Percy sharply inhaled, "Eeeeh, details, details. What matters is that I have a trophy in my room."

    "Is it an LVP trophy? Least valuable player?"

    Smiling, Percy tilted his head and looked, truly looked at her. This was a different version of Reyna, one…one that she deserved, for god knows she had been through more shit than most. 

    "What?" She asked, pulling at her skirt consciously.

    Percy shook his head, realizing he'd been staring a bit too much. "Retirement looks good on you."

But the fates have also decided that Percy’s life isn’t quite challenging enough, even with all the new threats all around him, and decide to throw the world into even more chaos by turning Zeus and his father, Poseidon into demigods. Percy and Thalia now armed with a new prophecy only a select few know, must work together with their parents who have ignored them their whole lives in order to save the demigods from a threat targeting the real beating heart of the Greco-Roman world.
