That is what they claim, but everyone knows this is false. They are against the tribes. Most of the time, it seems as if the earth itself is against them, too.
When one scouting mission goes horribly wrong, Tifa must finally come to terms with her powers, her inner battles, and what her people truly need - even if what they need is the one thing she cannot give.

Summary
The “Oni no Kin,” “Midgar Buster,” “Red Mage” and “Hound of Midgar” have ravaged the city for years. Slaughtering hundreds and leaving no survivors or witnesses.
It all starts with “Death's” disappearance. A killer with clean methods: a single shot to the middle of the forehead. Death’s been around for decades, killing often. Once a month at least, with the record high being 20 corpses found in one day.
After 36 months of “Death's” absence, he reappears, bringing someone with him.
The Siren.
Just as elusive and just as deadly as Death himself.
Siren’s corpses are often found naked or at the sight of past attempted or carried out sexual assaults. The victims of said attempts are solid in their statements; they didn’t see anyone or anything.
In the coming months however, the Hound of Midgar seems to fall under the Siren's song, followed closely by his companions. A strange ritual begins, using corpses to communicate and conspire. It keeps the Midgar PD on their toes, to say the least.
Thisnis the Siren's story, from learning Death's song, to falling in love with four of the most ruthless men on Gaia.

Tifa regarded the creature in front of her, it's yellow eyes unnervingly different from her friend's usual crimson gaze. Though always a shock, Vincent's forms rarely scared her, but she had a feeling there was something different about this one; the fact Nanaki's hackles were raised as he regarded the winged creature, only added to her wariness. Then again, it had just saved their lives. A slow smirk curled the creature's blue lips as it stared at her, a look that threatened to send a cold shiver down her spine. But even though she didn't know how it worked, Tifa tried to remember it was Vincent behind that form. She trusted the gunslinger with her life, so she did the only thing that felt right, and offered the creature a gentle smile of her own... hoping trusting it wasn't going to be a terrible mistake.
