"Unlike you mortals, we, the divine, do not return," Nabu Malikata replied, her voice now a mere breath across their thoughts, yet clear as a bell. "We bloom but once, and then our bloom fades forever."
"But isn't Kaveh...?" Alhaitham began, the pieces starting to click into place, a chilling realization dawning on his face.
"My reincarnation, yes," the Goddess confirmed, the sadness in her voice deepening, "And that is where the tapestry of fate began to fray. His birth in this world was a mistake, a ripple in the calm waters of destiny."
"What...?" Cyno breathed, the word caught in his throat.
"The Heavenly Principles did not favor this. He became a torn page in their book," Nabu Malikata explained, a profound sorrow now lacing her every word, like wilting petals. "Why else do you think that his life was so full of unfortunate events?"

Summary
Cyno’s life has always been the racetrack. Under the guidance of Aron, one of Formula 1’s most respected team principals, he rose from a rookie with raw talent to a driver with a future full of promise. Along the way, he met Tighnari, who was there in the garage from the very beginning. What started as quiet companionship turned into something neither of them expected: love.
But everything shattered the night Cyno’s car spun out of control, leaving him barely clinging to life. For Tighnari, watching from the pit wall, the fear of losing him was enough to demand the unthinkable: that Cyno be forced off the track, even if it meant convincing his own father to end his career.
Now, months later, Cyno is back, healed, restless, and desperate to reclaim the only thing that ever made him feel alive. Torn between passion and survival, Cyno must face the truth: in Formula 1, love and speed don’t always cross the finish line together.

And yet he found Kaveh in his home.
And yet he found Kaveh in his arms.
+
You can tell from the Akademiya’s community that Alhaitham is very set on his own philosophy.

Summary
He re-read the front page four times to ensure he was not hallucinating.
“Kaveh and the Ex-Grand Sage: Power Couple? Just Roommates? ‘It’s Complicated’?”
It was a gossip magazine. They had taken a photograph of them together at the bazaar, and the subtitle read “You might have heard the Light of Kshahrewar complaining about Scribe Alhaitham, but you probably haven’t heard that they live together. (And that they dated in their student days…)”
”Dated?!” Kaveh shrieked, throwing the edition at the wall. He then instantly scrambled out of bed to read the rest.

Summary
Regardless of what Alhaitham says loneliness wasn’t a comfort, it wasn’t something he chose for himself but a familiar pit in his heart he didn’t care to fill. No one could abandon him if there wasn’t anyone there. Like a great chasm he’d long put a rug over claiming it was there as designed. So he lived a life devoid of interaction and social pressure till he enjoyed the lack of people, underselling his abilities to prevent expectation.

Summary
“...What,” Tighnari breathed. He felt like the air had been dragged out of his lungs. “...What are you saying? You’re not– You’re…”
Cyno – or this being who looked like him – at last turned the fullness of his gaze on Tighnari. There was a sharpness, a knowingness, an otherness amidst his eyes’ scarlet hues that made the fur on Tighnari’s tail rise.
“I am not Cyno. I am Hermanubis.”Or, Hermanubis is forced to possess Cyno's body after an incident at Khaj-Nisut and, while searching for a solution, becomes acquainted with Cyno's friends.

Summary
Alhaitham has apparently decided to go about seducing Kaveh in the stupidest manner possible. And yet, that absurdity pales in comparison to Kaveh’s own stupidity—because somehow, against all reason, his roommate’s idiotic attempts to seduce him are working.
Kaveh turns to glare at Alhaitham, and Alhaitham stares back at him levelly—which only makes indignation boil hotter in Kaveh’s gut, even as his eyes drift to Alhaitham’s infuriating lips and start replaying that memory from this morning.
He knows what he saw. He’d watched as Alhaitham rounded his lips, took that banana far into his throat, and slowly dragged his mouth up the length, flicking his tongue at the tip. He’d seen Alhaitham start to repeat the motion, pausing with his eyes locked onto Kaveh’s—and then, with a half-lidded stare, he’d casually taken a bite and walked out of the room, brushing against Kaveh as he left.
Kaveh had been completely awake. And whatever the fuck Alhaitham was doing, it had been completely intentional.

Summary
“I don’t understand,” Kaveh says, pacing again, running a hand through his hair with a kind of wounded artistry that makes Alhaitham’s eyelid twitch. “You read all the same texts I did. You studied the same traditions. You know what the Sophists meant. You know about the agora. The gift economy. You know rhetoric isn’t just about manipulation—it’s about response. About risk.”
“I’m aware,” Alhaitham says. “I simply disagree.”
“With—what? The entire premise of interpersonal communication?”
“With the fetishization of indeterminacy,” Alhaitham says, adjusting his gloves. “With the idea that language must be excessive, emotional, endless. That clarity is somehow oppressive. That restraint is dishonesty. That the only ‘authentic’ utterance is the one that bleeds.”
“Oh,” Kaveh breathes, like he’s just been stabbed with a particularly pretentious dagger. “Oh, so now you’re anti-poetry.”
“I’m anti-delusion.”
“And yet you look in the mirror every morning.”
Or, how two men weaponize rhetorical praxis to avoid admitting they care.
