The first chapter captures a brief insight of what life was like for Shouto when he was trapped with Enji and Rei. The following chapters follow Shouto's recovery as he learns what love is from his new family.

All Might saved a young girl one day from a destructive villainous home. To make sure the girl was safe, she was given to All Might's former sidekick, Sir Nighteye (Sasaki Mirai), and she was adopted by him. As the girl grew up, due to her blonde hair, close relations with All Might, and being Sir Nighteye's adoptive daughter, people rumored she was All Might's secret love child. The rumors were denied left and right, but most fans continued to theorize and wonder if she truly was All Might's daughter. Oh boy, how wrong they were.
Todoroki Enji, more famously known as Endeavor, caught wind of this and it increasingly upset him. What made it worse? This girl absolutely mopped the floor with his son at the UA recommendation exams. This enraged him. No way was a daughter of All Might defeat his son so effortlessly. He forced his son to train harder, harder, which in turn made Shoto hate that stupid blonde girl for causing all of this.
And now, she was in his class. This year couldn't get any worse. And that blonde girl? That blonde girl is you.

Fuyumi takes Shouto to an event at her school district to help him with socialization with the permission of the other siblings and Shouto's therapist. Shouto had fun watching Inside Out 2 but has some difficulty with some emotions of his own when he notices that he is different from the other children. To get Shouto to feel better about being different Fuyumi takes him to a special cat café to meet kitties that are different, just like Shouto. Fate also draws them to a special cat for a special boy.
This is can be a standalone fic, but it may help to read the first fic in the series 'Fragments' to get a good picture of Shouto's special needs and how he came into his siblings' care.

"Who's there?" Shouto whispered hoarsely, his voice barely audible above the gentle rustle of the leaves. He strained to see through the darkness.
"Only a friend, my boy," the voice replied, its tone soothing and comforting in the quiet of the night. Shouto's heart skipped a beat as a figure emerged from the shadows, his form cloaked in darkness. He saw a tall man dressed in black.
"Are you... are you here to help me?" Shouto asked, his voice trembling with hope as he struggled to sit up. The figure approached him with measured steps.
"Can you make it stop?" Shouto pleaded, his voice barely a whisper as tears streamed down his cheeks. "Can you take away the pain?"
The man knelt before Shouto, his white hair gleaming in the moonlight as he extended a hand towards him. "Yes, my boy," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "But you must come with me."
Without hesitation, Shouto reached out and grasped the man's hand, his fingers trembling with a mixture of fear and anticipation.
