On a different Earth, the heroes of the DC Universe have been transformed and altered against the forces of the dark and monstrous. Our protectors on this Earth are those who live in the shadows and fight off the forces of darkness and hell.
CURRENT STORY: In 1685, Edmond Wayne traveled to America to defeat and slay the Vampire Lord Layfatte Arkham, beating him and leaving the Vampire’s Corpse in the bowels of Castle Arkham. Edmond Wayne swore to defend the settlement of Gotham, living out the rest of his life slaying all monsters that threatened his new home. Centuries later, the Wayne Family Manor burned in a fire and came under attack by a monstrous creature who swore to end the Wayne bloodline. It was a Vampire who killed Martha Kane-Wayne, followed by Thomas in front of their son Bruce. Alfred Pennyworth, the family butler, saved and hid Bruce away in the cavern underneath the Manor, where he found Edmond’s infamous armory. Then, Bruce swore to continue his family’s legacy by becoming a monster like those he hunted. By becoming a Bat that killed those that hurt and stalked those in the night. By becoming Batman!
