“Is everything alright? I saw you run off earlier.” Time asked, though there was no reply, as though Twilight didn’t even register the other man’s existence.
“Are you hurt?” Time pressed on, hoping that the invitation of a conversation may help with Twilight’s sudden silence.
Yet, there was nothing.Time fixed his jaw in frustration, stifling its predominance. He knew that Twilight was hurting in some way. Twilight was always extremely well spoken, receiving multitudes of praise and compliments for his outstandingly considerate usage of words and his constant politeness. Never was there silence.
OR
Time accidentally does something that upsets Twilight greatly, he doesn't realize his mistake until much after. He also doesn't realize that the damage was already done.

He stood in the aftermath of which was. Eight graves lay out in front of him, but only five filled with their respective owners. Broken stones lay at the head of each one. They were ugly and imperfect, yet in every way fit the hero’s spirit they possessed.
Nothing was beautiful about their lives, and death for them had been even uglier than he would have guessed. The gods offered them no favors taking their lives so brutally as it had been.
Dirty, worn hands clenched around bright blue.
A promise lay in those hands, and yet those hands were the cause of it all.

It wasn’t a slow rise and calm like all the other times before, nor was it a groan or grumble as he stretched popping joints.
It was a startling quick jump to a sitting position that had even Time startled.
Time was by his side in an instant, horrified by whatever he was seeing.
Tears tumbled down their cheeks, eyes bloodshot and cheeks red. Their lips parted, struggling to breathe correctly, and yet it wasn’t the fact that Twilight had clearly woken from a nightmare— jumping alive in fright. It was the silent way he looked at him and just couldn’t process Time at his side.
