Summary
Set almost a decade after the main series. Princess Azula has been missing for years, presumed dead. However, she has been living as a courier, guarding cargo across the 4 nations. During these many years, she has struggled but learnt humility, happily leaving the life of royalty behind. Unbeknownst to her, forces have been working in the shadows, planning to usurp her brother throne. Unwittingly she has become a pawn in their game. But she is not alone, as this mysterious organisation have also kidnapped her long lost niece Princess Izumi. Can the pair work together and make it back to the fire nation to warn of the plot to kill Zuko.
Basically an Azula redemption story, with lots of family feels and a road trip sort of vibe with Aunt and Niece. -

Polygamy isn’t exactly an uncommon practice in the Fire Nation, especially since the start of the War.
Knowing that didn’t lessen the shock when she received the letter.

Summary
Rai, the son of Fire Lord Zuko and Ambassador Katara, grows up in a Fire Nation still scarred by the 100-Year War. Though peace has lasted for fifteen years, internal tensions and mistrust from other kingdoms keep Zuko’s throne unstable—further strained by Zuko’s controversial union with a waterbender.
At a young age, Rai reveals an extraordinary gift: the ability to bend lightning and a rare violet flame. This power marks him as both a prodigy and a potential threat, making him a figure of awe and fear within the Fire Nation Palace. As Rai struggles to master his abilities, his unique gift casts a long shadow, testing his place in a world shaped by family secrets, political strife, and the weight of expectations. -

Summary
“Zuko?” Azula breathed, and she heard her voice shake. “This isn’t your room, Zuzu, it’s mine. You shouldn’t be here anyways…” She trailed off, because it was at that moment that she realized that Zuko’s face was unmarred. Just this afternoon, she had seen her brother’s left side get terrifically burned. She remembered how Zuko lay curled around himself on the ground as Ozai walked away. Azula remembered how she had smiled viciously as she watched.
Still, an unharmed Zuko stood right there, glaring at her.---
Azula began to unravel far earlier than anyone realized, right after her brother was banished.

After running away, Azula finds herself in the forest. Where she keeps finding her mother lying to her. She won't listen to her. After all, her father is telling her to survive. He would never leave her. He needed her, like she needs him. Azula knew if she needs to live, she needed to find allies. Not a child whining loudly in her ear, calling her mother. The ex-princess doesn't have time nor patience to take care of him . . . she can't even take care of herself.
Takes place, after The Search.

Summary
Azula was born from the sun. She was a daughter of Agni and thus was better than anyone else. Fire was flowing in her veines and electricity spiked in her soul. She soaked in the warmth that came with the fear people had for her, she soaked in the warmth to be followed without questions by her friends. She burnt constantly, too hot for anyone to come close, too bright.
When her eyes fell for the first time on the man she was to marry, her wrath was glacial.
When she understood the goal of her father, she accepted that she would never know warmth again.or Azula came back home with everything, proud and victorious. Ba Sing Se has fallen, the Avatar is dead and his bunch of misfits could as well be, the dragon of the West is in shackles and Zuko is back. Everything is perfect (not that she would allow it to be any other way). Or it is perfect, until the Fire lord decides to marry her off.
or I read somewhere that Azula was supposed to be in an arranged marriage during season 3 but it was abandoned because it did not fit the direction of the show so here I am. Including revolutions and sibling bonding.

Summary
“It’s a girl,” the midwife announced, wrapping the infant in soft red cloth and placing her in Ursa’s arms.
Ursa looked down at her daughter, her heart swelling with love and fear. The baby’s tiny face was serene, her golden eyes blinking up at her mother with an innocent curiosity.
The Fire Sages entered soon after, their robes brushing the floor as they approached the newborn. They studied her carefully, their expressions unreadable. Ursa held her breath, waiting for their judgment.
“She does not have a spark,” one of them said finally, their tone carefully neutral.

Au where Ozai and Ursa have a third child.
She does not bend fire and it changes nothing.
But she’s a bender and it changes everything. -

“-and by the decree of Firelord Zuko, you are hereby banished from the Fire Nation. If, and only if you manage to capture and bring back the Blue Spirit so that he can answer for his crimes against the Fire Nation will you regain your honour.”
The trembling soldier folded back the letter sporting the royal stamp and nervously glanced at the man sitting against his cell wall.
“…what,” ex-Firelord Ozai hissed, and the soldier physically recoiled.

Or basically Zuko getting back at his dad for being an abusive piece of shit by the most humiliating and funny way Sokka could think of.

Summary
Zuko has an intensely sympathetic story and is a very sympathetic character. However, he also received far more grace from the narrative and the writers than any other villain and antagonist in ATLA or LoK. They took pains to present almost everything about him in about the most sympathetic possible way. This summary of Zuko's canon story is an effort to illustrate how people might imagine Zuko as a character if he, like Azula or the other antagonists, did not receive this grace and this sympathetic framing.
