It was a cold February evening, Halloween gradually closing in on the quiet Seaside City. The scent of candy corn and seawater blanketed the city. Everywhere you looked you could see someone putting up their jack-o-lanterns, It was hard to escape the festivities of the season. No matter where you were, there were preparations to be made and somewhere to be. The Chaotix Detective Agency was just as busy, just not with costume planning. This time of year was stressful. You never knew when someone would steal someone else's bag of candy, or if someone would go around teepeeing some poor old lady’s house, but the phone stood silent. It would have been a peaceful afternoon if it weren’t for Charmy and Cream sharing the space.

Even stranger than that, he's also forging relationships with the workers at the university and the people connected to them.
But the truth of who he is will come out eventually, and the fallout might be impossible to handle if he doesn't figure out Clutch wants in all of this.
