Nerves lined every edge of their bodies. Where they differed from the construct twins was their flesh. Sinew connected to bone, muscle layered and wrapped in cords, ligaments and tendons and joints worked together to maintain movement, directed by impulses sent by the brain. And, through it all, nerves. Intertwined and complicated paths of tender, sensitive nerves that defined their existence.
