"Pia has worked hard." The girl replied while raising both of her clenched fists, indicating her enthusiasm. Even her stone-wall face couldn't hide her feelings from me. She must be proud that she managed to trick my clairvoyance by asking for help from our faes sibling.
"Yes, that's right. She's worked very hard. Why else would I be woken up by a beautiful girl who crept silently into my room at twelve o'clock, opened my window and let the night wind as cold as the ice on Dragonspine Mountain blow in gently. Kidnapping me who had yet to be fully woken up to the world of living, and carrying me like a potato sack to the top of Starsnatch Cliff to pick fresh Cecilia flowers, then making me work hard nonstop to prepare for the celebration? Hahahaha."

As the bard's voice grew tired his audience applauded him loudly, clapping their hands and offering him their glasses or loose coin which he took without question, grinning widely.
Diluc scoffed, moving out from where he’d stood in the shadows to join the group. As soon as the bard saw the movement, he downed the alcohol without any proper manners or self respect. When Diluc stood before him, snatching the emptied glasses from his hand he only laughed, tilting his head to the side shamelessly.
Offering up to Diluc the coins clinking together in his outstretched palm, he shamelessly requested more wine straight from the source. Unbothered by the scowl of the bartender.

From the hunched position of his drinking buddy beside him, and the not-so-discreet hand pressed against his corset, it was evident Kaeya had once again replaced supper with wine. It wasn't a common occurrence, perse, but there would be times when Venti would throw back shot after shot with the man, and the loudest words would always come from his stomach, instead of his mouth.
It was a good thing Venti never allowed his children to go to bed hungry.
