When Vivian realises Barton's vitals indicate a heat, Wrath and Reinhardt rush to check on him to find he's sorted it out on his own and maybe they should give the pair a little room and enjoy a glass of wine for a while.

Reinhardt had driven everyone away and when she has the opportunity to make amends with Barton after his eye injury she ends up with him sprawled across her coffee table, offering her an opportunity to not be the Grand Marshal for once.
Soon Wrath is jealous and welcomed into the dynamic too, fiercly protective of her two lovers. As their relationship ages, so too does their dynamic and Reinhardt relishes the opportunity to be something other than the Enlightened Illumina. In doing so, she also realises the relationship benefits her two lovers, Barton coming to terms with his trans identity and Wrath her place.

Reinhardt was used to unusual cases with the charity, but her veterans this time weren't people - they were dogs. With Vivian on holiday, she elects to ask Barton to take her to the base to see them.
He's instantly in love with the pair of huskies, and of course that meant that Pango would have something to say.
Barton wants those dogs. He's willing to overcome any hurdle that comes his way. If that involves taking care of Reinhardt after his former step-father stresses her out, offering relationship counselling to her roommate and letting his own health slip whilst he manages the demands of his team and the expectations to get those hounds, it'd be worth it.

When the Navigator first meets Barton, he's terrified. By trying to get the General to drop his guard, he doesn't expect to find himself falling for the man with the shark-like smile. Why was he so friendly with Gronru? Why was he so resistant to the Navigator's psychic link?
Fluff ensues and the boy realises that there's plenty under the surface of the Illumina Federation's most unruly and vicious general.
