The team, led by Aaron Hotchner and including top profilers such as Dr Spencer Reid, Jennifer Jareau and Derek Morgan, quickly identifies a unique pattern: the victims are all connected to past unsolved crimes, and arrows are left at some scenes as a cryptic signature. As the BAU delves deeper, and with forensic evidence leading nowhere, the team's psychological profiling skills become crucial in narrowing down suspects. Dr Reid analyses old news clippings and interviews, unknowingly piecing together the dual identity of Oliver Queen as both billionaire and masked hero.
Tensions mount when the BAU's investigation puts them directly in The Arrow’s path. While some team members see The Arrow as a dangerous criminal, others begin to sympathise with his motives. The Team faces a moral dilemma: should the BAU pursue The Arrow for taking the law into his own hands, or work with him to dismantle an even larger criminal conspiracy lurking beneath the surface of Starling City?
