The frantic tone of his voice, the dry, thin laughter with which he followed this denial, the strained nonchalance of his expression-- these details all clearly conveyed to Guillermo that Nandor was in fact very very into 'that weird stuff,' but also in the deepest possible denial about that fact.
Nandor al Quolanudari might be the single most repressed client Guillermo de la Cruz has ever encountered. Fortunately for Nandor, Guillermo is pretty sure he can coax him out of his shell a little.

“Y’know…Because you saw me feeding,” He stated as if it was obvious, like Guillermo was dumb for not possibly coming to that conclusion.
“It's Panera Bread, I see people eat all day,” Guillermo replied, dumbfounded; this guy had to be absolutely wasted, probably stained his mouth with red wine… Even if it looked crimson and thick rather than the thinner, less viscous texture of wine.
The man let out a chuckle, long, mocking. As his mouth propped open in the chuckle, Guillermo could make out how abnormally long his canines were, sharp and pointed, covered in that same red that coated his lips. Was this guy seriously roleplaying being a vampire behind a Panera Bread? Guillermo didn’t have time for this; his mom would start to worry if he didn’t make it home in time to eat her lukewarm leftovers.
Guillermo's nightly closing routine has a slight change.
