Summary
In an effort to “have fun” and “live a little” good boy Draco Malfoy attends his first rave, a rather on-the-nose affair hosted by Pansy Parkinson. The theme is Rave-mas, the booze and drugs are flowing, and the main act of the night is Lioness, Hermione Granger’s nom de guerre.
This fic has very little to do with Christmas - honestly, I just liked the name. It’s more inspired by that one night around the holidays in which everyone is in town, so you go out and get a little reckless with the people who know you the best.

James wants to encourage Harry to gain more confidence, so he dares him to go into a shop and get the prettiest thing there for 20 pounds.
Harry who gets out of the shop holding – a slightly confused – Regulus's hand hostage, almost screaming, "I found a pretty boy! And he was free!"

“Don’t go home with him.”
The decidedly male voice made her jump. Her eyes snapped open and snagged on the rumpled reflection of Teddy Lupin. His warm hazel eyes were fixed on her with a startling intensity.
“You shouldn’t be in here,” she said, trying her best not to sound as nervous as she felt. “This is the ladies.”
“Don’t go home with him,” he said again.
Anger flared in her belly and she whirled toward him. He had some nerve.
“I don’t believe it’s any of your business who I choose to take home,” she said sharply. “You should be more concerned with your own date. You know, the woman climbing all over you?”
It was meant to be a jibe, but she hated how desperate and jealous it sounded.
“I don’t want her,” Teddy said, eyes still trained intently on her.
Or: Hermione knows she shouldn’t be lusting after the DMLE’s newest Junior Auror, who also happens to be her best friend’s godson. When she tries to get over her wildly inappropriate crush by getting under another wizard, Hermione fails spectacularly. Instead, she finds out exactly what she’s been missing when Teddy Lupin corners her in the loo and shags her senseless.

Summary
Harry had everything to be happy, did not he? His uncle from the Potter side of his family was his new guardian and he was a wizard – it was still as amazing as the first day. He had friends and loved school, everything was going well.
All he needed was for the meeting between his uncle and Professor Snape to go well and his year should go well.
(Let's be clear: the meeting going wrong was just not a possibility since Professor Snape was the Head of Slytherin and Harry WAS a Slytherin).

Summary
It started with a murder. Most things do nowadays for Hermione Granger, former-war hero and lead homicide detective for the DMLE. No one would have ever thought that the same Hermione Granger who once went green at the sight of blood would become one of the best detective Aurors that the DMLE had ever seen but she rose quickly through the ranks. She likes her work, the routine and regulations of it even if it is a bit of a morbid career.
Her investigations have a reputation of being straightforward and clean, she had no intention of anything ever changing that until the day that she enters a crime scene and finds herself walking into something straight out of the murder mysteries she reads in her spare time. Of course, she brought in the author of said book for questioning and the consultation, but never in a million years did she think that the muggle author, Richard Castle, would turn out to be none other than former Death Eater and school bully Draco Malfoy.
Now they need to work quickly in order to catch the killer before they strike again. Or before they kill each other.
