Summary
As a self proclaimed foodie/drink connoisseur, Lance has tried it all. A new dish on the menu? He's eaten it. A trial beverage in need of testing? He's drunk it. So when a coffee shop happens to have it's grand opening in his side of town, you guessed it, he's there. Of course, no one told him he would be in for MUCH MORE than just the crowd pleaser of a menu. If the cute hipster-emo guy behind the counter has anything to do with it, that is.
Meanwhile, Keith Kogane, a fresh faced shop owner who had accepted a life of solitude, finds himself warming up to the idea of love after meeting a certain blue-eyed man with an undeniable charm. Although, that leaves him with another new life development to tackle: pursuing romance as an awkward introvert chocked full of countless flaws.

Summary
Keith begrudgingly downloaded the popular app 'Tick' after Pidge's incessant request. He didn't understand why she was so adamant until he found himself endlessly scrolling until his eyes were strained and his brain felt like mush. The app definitely gave him more than he bargained for...
or, Lance is a famous Tick-er, Keith is an avid fan-fic writer, and V-tron GoLion is a well-known Comic Series-turned-animated-tv-show that they both obsess over. Their paths are a lot more connected than they think.

Summary
Keith Kogane worked at Castleship magazine. It was a magazine that catered to genre fiction aficionados, and was quite celebrated for its reviews, critiques, and recommendations. Keith himself was one of the critics that reviewed new novels, and it was the only place he funneled his feelings into these days.
Keith's assigned genre was the beloathed and trite genre of romance. He tore books to shreds for their overused cliches, flowery descriptions, uninspired premises, and flat character writing. He had a reputation for having excellent taste, and being able to express caustic disdain within the space of a couple paragraphs.
In other words, he held the power to send new books to the grave, and he did so frequently. He never printed a single word he didn’t think was true, and he always did it on time.

Keith is a book reviewer for a magazine. Lance is a new author. Lance really wants Keith to read his book, but when Keith refuses because it's a romance, Lance vows to charm him until he agrees to read it.

He feels his eyes bug and twitch. “In the entire library, you have one copy of Little Women?”
“Yup.”
“Can I at least know who has it checked out?” Lance sighs through his nose, defeated.
She shrugs, turning to her brick of a computer and typing something in. “A guy named Keith.”
“Who?” He’s never heard of a single person going to Altea State University named Keith.
or, lance is suffering through classical lit 101 with a teacher that assigns required reading like its air. every time he goes to check out that book from the library closest to him, a man named keith has checked it out. the same day, a letter falls out of the book checked out to him marked “k. kogane.”

Summary
Lance had never seen his mother look as happy as she did in that moment. The nurse had left the room, smiling as though she was proud of the damage she had unknowingly caused.
Of course, she'd just been told that her only son had gotten engaged. The news had lit a small beacon of hope in her life that had been shrouded with darkness for the past three years.
Except, Lance wasn't engaged. His "fiance", who was concussed and sleeping in the hospital bed, was actually just some stranger Lance had been pining over for weeks, and just so happened to be in the right time and right place to save his life.

(Or: Lance saves Keith's life and accidentally tells his family they're engaged. Oops.)

Summary
“I believe this is as good a place as any to share my story, don’t you think?” Lance raises his voice before it melds in with the lyrical jazz drifting from the corner of the speakeasy. The dim light from the lamps casts strange shadows across both their faces.
Keith blinks one, two, three times before Lance’s words sink in. Pulling out a small journal and a pen he always keeps on his person, he catches Lance’s lips quirking in surprise as a short chuckle escapes him.
“My, aren’t you prepared?”
“I am a writer,” Keith responds. “And thank you, for helping me.”

Summary
At a London Coffeehouse in the 18th century, Keith is a writer for the local newspaper. He takes tip-offs from the public in the form of scrolled up paper in a lion's jaw. Only, today, he gets more than he's bargained for.
Getting to his feet, Keith cleared his throat, ready to read their latest tip-off. Then his breath fell short.
This wasn’t? He couldn’t? Keith’s cheeks flamed. The quiet around him suddenly became achingly so as he processed what he was supposed to be reading aloud.Dearest Keith, your words are as fine as that behind you so gracefully hide beneath the tail of your handsome silken coat. From afar, my admiration will eternally shine.
X“So?” Shiro urged, leaning closer, “what does it say?”

Keith could say it was destiny that he and Takashi Shirogane ended up at the Paradise Motel one fateful Friday Night.
But in reality Keith was an employee, and Takashi sure as hell didn't want to be there.
It only takes a weekend for Takashi to realize why the motel was called paradise, despite it's stupid Hawaiian decor and ugly employee outfits.
How dare they put Keith in such a hideous shirt!
